Promotions: Alan R. Miller, PE, SECB / Director of Engineering For the past twelve years, Alan has contributed in a supervisory role to each and every O&N project. As a standard bearer, he strives to uphold the firm’s established design principles and practices while helping to elevate the abilities of junior staff. He is a creative engineer and a natural mentor. Alan possesses both the technical acumen and leadership qualities to strengthen O&N’s projects and personnel alike. Melissa Pastras-Brugler, PHR, SHRM-CP / Director of Finance Melissa developed a thorough command of O&N’s financial operations working under the tutelage of her mentor, O&N CFO Peggy Hart. She has aided the firm in various roles over the past 15 years as Human Resource Manager, Information Manager, and Accounting Clerk. Melissa’s prior contributions include implementation of a firm-wide financial database, management of O&N’s Employee Stock Ownership Plan, and creation of an in-house employee wellness program. Jason Ganister, PE, SE / Project Executive Over the past 14 years, Jason has amassed a diverse structural engineering resume, as well as a reputation as a valued collaborator. He has managed the design of a number of large scale and notable projects, including the 905,000 SF Capital Health Medical Center in Hopewell, NJ and the 1,000,000+ SF, seven-building, Rowan Boulevard mixed-use development in Glassboro, NJ. John Mamana, PE / Project Executive John is a Lehigh Valley native and longtime member of O&N’s Bethlehem, PA office. Over the past 16 years, he has contributed to some of the region’s most significant projects, including Tower 6, the 12-story, 142,000 SF Class A office building under construction in Allentown, PA, as well as more than a dozen projects for the Lehigh Valley Health Network. Alison DeBourke, PE, SE / Project Executive Since joining O&N 4 years ago, Alison has dedicated herself to the design and management of residential, senior living, and storage projects. Her recent experience includes design of the Waverly Court Apartment Expansion in Philadelphia, PA and the 90,000 SF Sage For Senior Living Center in Tredyffrin Township, PA. We would also like to congratulate staff members that ascended to “Senior” positions in 2017: Senior Project Executives Michael Miller, PE and Ryan Rotzell, PE, Senior Project Managers Edward Johnson, PE and Kyle Terry, PE, and Senior BIM Coordinators Allan LeBar and Greg Yanosh. Hires: Paul Uhrig / Senior Project Manager Though Paul only joined O&N late last year, with 25 years’ experience to call upon he has quickly made an impact. His wealth of hands-on parking restoration knowledge makes him a valuable resource to owners and facilities managers alike. Paul is currently lending his expertise to parking restoration projects for Holy Redeemer Hospital in Meadowbrook, PA and RWJBarnabas Health in Newark, NJ. Rosalee Rosario / Executive Administrative Assistant When Rosalee joined O&N’s Mountainside, NJ office she resumed a ten year working relationship with Vice President Paul Panzarino, PE. In her new role, she will support the operations of O&N’s NJ engineering staff. Cory Brynes / Engineering Intern Cory is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Villanova University. For the next six months he will contribute to projects based out of O&N’s Philadelphia office.
